Card billing runs through Payfast. Your trial starts the day your profile is approved, and the first charge only happens on day 8. Cancel inside the trial and you are never charged.

Enquiries come straight to you
Your number and WhatsApp sit on your profile. Clients contact you, you set the time and the price, and you keep every rand of it.

Questions
Before you sign up.
Do I need to be registered with the AHPCSA?
Yes. Therapeutic massage therapy is a regulated profession in South Africa, and TheraConnect only lists therapists who can give a registration number that appears on the AHPCSA register. If you are still studying or your registration has lapsed, we can’t publish your profile.
Does TheraConnect take a cut of what I charge?
No. You pay a flat advertising fee and nothing else. Clients pay you directly, at whatever rate you set, and TheraConnect never sees that money.
Is there a booking calendar?
No, and that’s deliberate. TheraConnect is an advertising directory. Clients contact you and you arrange the appointment however you already do it — phone, WhatsApp, or your own diary.
Do I get a login to edit my profile?
Not at this stage. Profiles are set up and changed by TheraConnect from the details you submit, which keeps every listing consistent and stops anyone editing in claims we haven’t checked. Email a change and it’s updated for you. Self-service editing is planned once the directory is bigger.
What happens if a payment fails?
Payfast retries the card. You get an email each time, and your listing stays up during the retries. If it still hasn’t gone through after the last attempt the listing is hidden rather than deleted, so you can pick up where you left off.
Can I cancel?
Any time, with no notice period. Your listing stays up until the end of the period you’ve already paid for, then comes down.
What if someone leaves an unfair review?
Every rating is read by a person before it appears, so most of it never reaches your profile. If something is already published and you believe it is untrue, tell us and it comes down while we look at it.
My suburb isn’t on the list.
Send it through when you apply. Coverage starts with Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban and Bloemfontein, and suburbs are added as therapists join them.
